Why hasn’t the NCAA list of undefeated teams been updated for JMU’s information? The number is right, but the description hasn’t changed since for several weeks. As far as I can tell, the others have been updated. @JMUFootball@NCAA@NCAAFootball
My LinkedIn profile was inexplicably deleted so I’ve spent the last three days re-designing my account. I have no connections with this new account, so I’m posting my new link here: https://t.co/nglE1nLpMT
Thank you, in advance, for your help!
I had an excellent time presenting at the ENERGIES World History Association Conference @WHAtweets at the University of Pittsburgh @WHCPitt this weekend!
Officially finished with Year 6 in the classroom! I’ve packed up my stuff and moved classrooms (to a much smaller, but nicer room). I’m excited for next year, but will be teaching VA/US Government for pretty much all of my preps!
@alexadeleon Some mentioned that they only later realized they were eating contaminated food. Their revelations made me wonder how/if food preparation and consumption changed after the bombings, especially among survivors or those located near the blast zones
I’m looking for archival and scholarly information about food consumption and preparation practices in the aftermath of the atomic bombings. Any ideas?
@alexadeleon@alexadeleon Sure! I’ve just started thinking about this topic, so I haven’t looked too much into what’s available. I was reading some hibakusha testimony and noticed that some of the hibakusha spoke about being extremely thirsty and hungry.
@astanley711 My students read Stranger in the Shogun’s City for their most recently module in my class at JMU. I’m getting the first drafts of their reviews. They seem to have enjoyed the book very much.
I’m working on a syllabus for World History Since 1500. I’m trying to find the best ways to organize my modules. Any ideas? I’d prefer to not follow the organization of textbooks
@tufekkedipasa @bordergroves That’s a sad state to be in, but in my school system, and I’m Virginia, I think it would be unlikely to have a gym teacher teach history classes, unless they were dual credentialed. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I’ve seen it happen in other subjects and it’s unacceptable
