Old me: Be nice no matter what, let people walk all over you and give them an excuse for their behavior.
New me: Treat me well, I’ll treat you even better; treat me poorly, I’ll treat you even worse.
Unpopular opinion: Calling someone “too sensitive” is just a way to deflect from the fact that some people have incredibly low standards on how to treat others and the inability to take 2 seconds to think about how their actions and words could affect others
I think one of the worst things to experience as an introvert is when you’re actually connecting with someone and having a good convo and some loud mouth comes in and takes it over
Everyone’s complaining about wearing masks and I’m pregnant and have literally been wearing one all day at work for 8 hours straight, get over yourselves
free yourself from the guilt of simply FEELING. allow yourself to be sad when you don’t want to be, miss someone you don’t want to miss. feel it and let it pass. it’s just a feeling. when you suppress and bottle it up it has no where to go but deeper into your mind.
@jordanthomson00 I’m not even going to bother with them anymore. You try having a reasonable discussion and the next thing you know they’re swearing/calling you names. From what I’m gathering, you can’t teach empathy and you can’t teach humility. You either have it or you don’t
