Remarkable.

One of Trump’s closest influencers, Laura Loomer, has publicly admitted that she spent years spreading Russian propaganda and anti-Ukrainian narratives.

Loomer says she was emotionally manipulated by online propaganda while trying to defend Trump from accusations of Kremlin ties. In doing so, she and many other conservatives began subconsciously sympathizing with Russia.

“I was so anti-Ukraine and repeated these talking points, believing I was saying the right things. I didn’t realize how deeply I had been manipulated by propaganda online. We fell for Russian propaganda. I fell for it myself.”

She now says Russia only pretends to defend Christian values while bombing civilians, persecuting Christians in occupied Ukraine, and supporting neo-Nazis inside the United States.

Better late than never. The real question is: how many others still haven’t realized they’ve been manipulated?
