As a part of their Reader’s Workshop completion credits, the 5th graders in Mrs. Popilek and Miss Ferber’ class participated in their 1st poetry slam! This trimester, each student will plan, practice and SLAM 4 poems of choice! What a vibe for a Friday afternoon! #21Learns

2nd graders celebrate "Twos-day" on 2-22! They dressed as twins, wore tutus, bow ties, and tennis shoes and did fun reading and math activities throughout the day. #21Learns

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Doerre’s class read the story Snowflake Bentley and then *finally* got a chance to head outside to collect snowflakes and examine them closely. ❄️ #21Learns
Miss Debbie from the Raupp Museum came to the 4th grade classrooms on Monday. Students learned more about Westward Expansion. The students even got to simulate packing a covered wagon for a journey west. #21Learns
4th graders are learning about robotics with our new Edison robots. In these pictures they are experimenting with creating lines for Edison to follow after scanning a barcode. There has been a lot of great collaboration and critical thinking already! #21Learns
