@LazyTalukdar@dilipjain1979@DesiEsco7 It's technically for testing, so you can get real time diagnostics of the battery pack without opening the battery pack.
INDIAN NAVAL SHIP TRIKAND RESPONDS TO PIRACY ATTEMPT ON MV GOLDEN ARSENAL IN THE GULF OF ADEN
Indian Naval Ship Trikand, a mission-deployed stealth frigate of the Indian Navy operating in the Gulf of Aden, responded swiftly to a piracy attempt on MV Golden Arsenal, a St. Vincent and the Grenadines-flagged bulk carrier, on 01 Jul 26.
The merchant vessel, while transiting from Aden, Yemen, reported an attempted pirate attack approximately 300 nautical miles east-northeast of Djibouti. The piracy incident was reported in coordination with the Information Fusion Centre – Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR), following which INS Trikand, mission deployed din the region, was directed to intercept the merchant vessel.
The merchant vessel, carrying 21 crew members, including one Indian national, reported damage to the bridge superstructure and adjoining compartments. The crew had taken shelter in the vessel's citadel and were reported safe.
On the morning of 02 Jul 26, a boarding team from INS Trikand embarked MV Golden Arsenal to sanitise the vessel and assess the situation. Following a thorough search, no suspicious personnel were found onboard. The crew subsequently exited the citadel safely and, along with Indian Navy personnel, commenced an assessment of the vessel's condition.
To augment the operation, an Indian Navy P-8I Maritime Patrol Aircraft was deployed to undertake aerial surveillance and reconnaissance in the area, enhancing maritime domain awareness and supporting the anti-piracy response.
With the vessel sanitised and the immediate threat neutralised, anti-piracy operations by INS Trikand have concluded. MV Golden Arsenal has since resumed her onward voyage.
The Indian Navy remains committed to safeguarding merchant shipping, countering piracy and ensuring the safety and security of all seafarers in the region, irrespective of nationality, as part of its continued commitment to maritime security in the Indian Ocean Region.
@never382@DesiEsco7 The BAT-BMS app developed by Shenzhen Greenery Technology can work only on their brand or unbranded battery packs, not on non-chinese battery. The bluetooth is soldered on the battery keeping it permanently ON. It connects with a password, usually 000000, as no one changes it.
@venu_banaras@DesiEsco7@UltravioletteEV It's the battery. If the battery is Chinese, then no. If the battery is premium Chinese or non-chinese, then it should be fine.

@Sunil16090786@DesiEsco7 It's there. The password is 000000. Nobody changes it in their own vehicle. So, when the app asks for password, they just input 0s & it works.
@tng_dinesh@DesiEsco7 It's a testing app. Banning it would mean nobody can test their batteries. So, Indian EVs would install untested Li-ion batteries. If the armyman had installed the app in his phone, he too could have restarted the EV, instead of dragging it.
@Hhgyujj86966@DesiEsco7 Yes. Bluetooth is usually soldered on the battery pack, making it impossible to turn off. Premium battery packs don't have this issue, as in expensive Chinese or non-chinese brands.
@Goku33638545@DesiEsco7 Well, the app is used by testers. It's the people that are the problem. Nobody does this in China, even though the app works there in a similar manner
