Peace, human rights, non-violence, freedom and justice are essential for a fair and inclusive society.

In Jharkhand, thousands of students peacefully raised their voices for transparency and fairness in the recruitment examination process. Five students undertook a 16-day hunger strike to draw attention to their legitimate concerns.

Their peaceful movement reflects the values highlighted in this #PeaceDay message. I hope their concerns receive due institutional attention and consideration.

On 25 April 2026, I submitted a representation to @MoHFW_INDIA, @nppa_india, @Pharmadept, @NITIAayog and @OfficeofJPNadda regarding medical-device pricing, MRP transparency and trade margins.

I requested stronger monitoring and greater pricing transparency to protect patients from excessive financial burden.

Additional information: Five protesters also undertook a hunger strike as a peaceful form of protest. This was not mentioned in my earlier communication, and I am sharing it now as supplementary information.

Peaceful assembly, freedom of expression and dialogue are fundamental to human rights and democratic participation.

Hon’ble Minister, your immediate attempt to save a person during an emergency is commendable. 🙏

However, this incident also shows why proper, hands-on CPR/BLS training is essential. CPR is effective only when the correct technique, compression rate/depth and AED use are known.

I urge the Telangana Government to ensure CPR/BLS training for Ministers, MLAs, government officials and first responders.
