Last night saw us having our Annual Formal Inspection, where @oc_nireland spoke to our staff and cadets. Had a look at our new flight sim and presented CI Caughey his certificate of appointment and CI Harvey his certificate of good service from his time as a CWO.

Last night we held an enrolment evening for our new cadets. Presented our CWO with his silver FA certificate and promoted 6 of our cadets!

Well done to everyone on their enrolment, awards and promotions! You have all done brilliantly!

“The Year of the Three Polish Generals” exhibition launched at Stormont on 24th October. During the event @MaciekBator Tony Osborne, Ken Belshaw & Ray Burrows received Silver Polish Army medals from the Polish Deputy Military Attaché Col. Tomasz Ferfecki.

Congratulations to our cadets who were awarded their blue Drums badges last night. And congratulations to SGT Peel and Cpl Thompson on achieving their Cyberfirst Adventurers - the first step in getting their bronze cyber course!

Tonight we were in Stormont, where our cadets were awarded their “Your Freedom & Ours Certificates” by the Polish Consul General Majewski & Deputy Military Attaché Ferdecki.

Our Civ Comm chair, & ex sqn WO, Tony Osbourne was honoured with the Silver Polish Army Medal.

A huge congratulations goes out to CWO Harvey and SGT Peel who passed their Method Of Instruction course.

We also had 5 cadets pass their EFA last week awarding them their Blue First Aid. Well done to CDT Torrens, CDT Dennis, CDT Moore, CDT Stevenson and CDT McGowan.

Despite the weather being too poor to fly today our cadets got to have a go on the VR Flight Sim 13 AEF today. They got a tour around the aircraft and some friendly competition with @2004AirCadets to see which sqn could do the fastest egress drills. #Flying #AEF

Tonight @oc_nireland presented Cpl Belozerova with a Wing Commanders Special Commendation and FS McAllister with a Commandants Special Commendation, for outstanding commitment and dedication during the pause in training.

Congratulations to Cpl Madlena Belozerova on achieving her @CVQO BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Teamwork and personal Development in the community!

A massive congratulations goes to our newest CWO!

CWO Harvey is an incredible assist to our squadron and this promotion is so well deserved for all his hard work and effort. He puts 110% into everything he does, and getting to the rank of CWO shows that hard work pays off.

A massive congrats goes out to our cadets. We had 2 of our cadets compete their senior cadet classification- well done CPL’s!

We also carried out NCO boards tonight and we are very please to introduce 1 new CPL, 3 new SGT’s and 1 new FS to the team!

It was a brilliant day, definitely helped by the Ulster Aviation Society Spitfire parked up beside us, and some static aircraft behind us! Our cadets had a great day talking to members of the public and hopefully we see some new recruits walking through our doors very soon!
