Hey, guys, so, uh, dealing with a lot of crap lately when it comes to using this website.
On the main account, it keeps thinking my posts are automated. On here, it locked my account recently, which I know from experience happens to a lot of new accounts.
Alright, I feel like I'm calming down a bit.
It just feels tough sometimes living in the modern world. I don't seek to fit in, but it still feels tough sometimes to find my place in everything.
Sometimes it feels like I have to carve out a place for myself in today's world.
You constantly feel the need to pull strings instead of tieing the ones around your bootstraps and getting to work fixing your own life.
That's not on me.
That's 1000% on you.
This isn't really true karma for what I ranted about last night because you're approaching it from a completely unrelated angle.
"Oh, he's lecturing me about scamming people and my lifestyle? I'm going to hit him in one of his greatest passions."
"He's lecturing me on what makes a good life? I'm going to for his happiness."
You keep throwing punches but continually underestimate my ability to recover and adapt.
You care too much what I say and it shows.
"You can't give up playing video games, Mike! This is one of your lifelong passions and hobbies! It brings you joy!"
Yeah, but every few months there's another terrible gaming story and it's actively zapping the fun I'm having out of modern gaming.
Add in world economic -
This is actually making me actively depressed, guys.
Like I don't feel like playing Adventures of Elliot anymore at the moment, I'm that sad and frustrated.
It's at this point that I think I can safely say that the way I get by is actively picking and choosing what I pay attention to, because taking it all in at once is way too intense.
I don't know if I can even call myself a tech COLLECTOR anymore, because what will there be to actually COLLECT after January 2028?
Hulkings hunks of plastic and metal?
Oh woooooowwww.
Worse still, if you don't actively pay a given tech maker's asking price RIGHT FROM THE GET-GO, they make it actively HARDER AND HARDER to get into the ecosystem as time goes by.
Actively REWARDING fomo.
Hit the daily posting limit again on the main account, so I'm posting this here.
""Not everything is about video games and tech, Mike."
I want you to stop and think for a moment on this situation, okay?
People are paying astronomical prices for everything, not just tech.
Add ONTO that the fact your chances of fighting this companies and winning are next to zero, AND if you win, the company essentially gets a slap on the wrist while you get a pitifully low amount of compensation in return and comparison.
