(Long post alert) I don’t know if this post will be liked or if I’ll lose followers but I don’t really care either way. So here goes:

I’ve been nothing but positive about this baseball team for years. I’ve either not mentioned Kingston or talked good about him. But after allowing Georgia to win their first road SEC series since 2022, clock struck midnight.

If (and prolly so) what the experts are saying is true & this loss tonight means we aren’t hosting a regional - he has to be fired. He’s had 7 years. Time is up.

There is way too much talent on this team to not be hosting a regional in 2024. Can’t blame the injuries this year.

Here is a short list of reasons (in no particular order) why I believe Mark Kingston needs to be fired:

(FEEL FREE TO ADD TO LIST)

-Never been to Omaha. We are Yardcock baseball - should be in Omaha every other couple years at a bare minimum. Notice I didn’t say win a natty. He just can’t make the right decisions to win the big games. You hear the radio guys questioning coaching decisions often. You hear Stuart Lake talking about how him and Ray would have done something differently in situations.
-He’s never been involved around the university like other coaches. Never seemed bought in to this university. You see Dawn, Shane, Lamont (and plenty others) always supporting each other online or otherwise. Kingston is never around other sporting events and he’s certainly not on social media.
-Terrible bullpen decisions - puts pitchers in bad situations constantly.
-Can’t keep the same line up or pitching order to save his life - these guys can’t get into any sort of groove with constant change.
-Shifting the infield at the wrong moment every time. Never fails.
-Our approach at the plate has been very bad for many years. If this is on another coach then it’s on Kingston for not getting the right guy.

My small amount of NIL donations monthly deserve better. The larger donors deserve much better. The everyday fan who gives $0 deserves better.

We all deserve better, Ray.

What @dawnstaley did this year will go down in history. It was quite possibly the best coaching job ever in the history of college basketball.

She lost every single starter from a team last year that was arguably the best team in the country. This year was labeled as a “rebuilding year”.

She thought about retiring before the year. Dawn Staley is a leader and knew what she needed to do - recruit her ass off and develop her young talent. I think it worked… In the national championship game tonight she played 9 girls for an average of 22 minutes each. Every single one of them would be a starter on any team in the country.

The culture of this team is unmatched. All of them play with such unselfishness and share one thing: the passion to win and be the best. It doesn’t matter to them who scores more or gets the spotlight … just win.

38-0. Perfection. They just won.
