@amanda75863539 @HRMFireNews As tough as it is it’s always best to stay put until you are told to evacuate. Doing so early just causes more panic and more traffic for the people trying to get out of areas that have been evacuated. If you need to leave you’ll be informed.

@DeltaCanuckian Oh god yeah, don’t mess with ALE’s. As long as you know how to get avid to scan the footage (basically just drop it in the right folder) then it takes no time at all to get it in. Make sure you’ve got resolve set to send the clip name to the tape column though, helps conforms.

@DeltaCanuckian I was about to say, that takes literally 2 seconds haha. Create OP-ATOM files, get avid to scan them, drop database into a bin. It’s my normal workflow for transcoding.

@DeltaCanuckian Depends what you’re doing really. Most things I find I can achieve faster but really avid just works different from mostly everything else so trying to treat it like something else will always be frustrating.
