Good morning education brains trust. I’m looking for a reading program to extend strong readers using higher order thinking strategies - Year 4-6. Has anyone come across something they like?
Year 3s researched a local historical building and created a 3D model of it using @PlayCraftLearn. Exported it to PowerPoint and added an animation. Engaging and empowering our students using #Microsoft tools. Thanks #MSTP2021 and @standouted for the inspiration. #KingstonPS
Terrific day at the #RTSPerth celebrating #STEMeducation 🧪📱⚙️🧮 Year 6 @HarrisdalePS Ss enthusiastically conversed with visitors, discussing climate action, circuits, microbits, renewable energy & wind turbines. Brilliant to see them showcase their learning 🤗 @NipuniMathota
What if a daily wellbeing check-in was as important as daily attendance? We send texts home for absence. What if we communicated with a significant adult how their child/student was 'feeling' after a daily check in? Could more than one 'check in' reflect a school's culture?
@FiMorrison2 A5 Google is my friend. 24 hrs is a long time in the world of resources. Such a moving feast. It can be there one minute..changed the next and not quite what you are needing this time round. https://t.co/a3K4ArslKY
Using collaborative function in Keynote on iPads for groups of students to work on the same document. Works well with BYOD devices. No success with school iPads on Managed Apple IDs. Can anyone shed light on this please?#AppleEdu#BlueprintLearn#EveryoneCanCreate#LumosLearning
@shira_telushkin Hello Shira. I’m Ben’s mum. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your story about the prayer shawl. It brought tears to my eyes. So beautifully written and such a lovely story about continuing family traditions. The shawl will be a treasured heirloom. X
Love the latest #Keynote update! My Year 3s made animated Mother’s Day messages and exported them as gifs to airdrop to their mums on Mother’s Day. So much creativity! #PrimarySTEMChat
