Welcome to 2023! We start the first week back by awarding our Cadet Of the Month with their well deserved trophy, and handing out a variety of certificates that cadets earned in the month prior. Well done all!

A great ending to another hugely successful year, with our annual Christmas entertainment night. Hilarious comedy sketches, games, a festive quiz and treats. Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy healthy New Year.

A great honour to welcome Grp Cpt Booth, Commander of RAF Battlespace Management Operations to squadron, where he gave a very interesting talk on his important team and how they protect UK airspace.

Thursday saw the airport annual festival of remembrance, attended by veterans, local dignitaries, all military services and cadet forces. Until next year!

Outstanding respect and hard work from our cadets today, who helped to clean the war graves. A stark reminder that a number of the brave young aircrew killed in a local crash during WW2, were the same age as some of our cadets. We will remember them.

Cadet of the month!

Last week saw one of our cadet NCO’s claim the trophy for this months Cadet of the month!

Thanks to the wonderful #RAF outreach team for coming down once again - this time teaching cadets about interview skills, essential for later on in life!

Oh, and of course we had the flight sim on again 😉 ✈️

Over 16 cadets have passed their First Class drill assessment tonight - and one cadet pass their Senior exams! Busy busy! Well done to all 😊

Cadets enjoyed a very interesting visit from the Cheshire/N Wales Police Armed Response Vehicle tonight, with a demonstration of various tactical equipment and demo training aids. Sincere thanks to the two Officers from @CheshNWalesAAP for a great evening!

A sad evening as five Cheshire Squadrons attended the last ever North sector event as part of Staffordshire Wing, but wonderful to see many worthy recipients of deserving awards. Well done to our outstanding CWOs!

Great effort from everyone who attended the Bronze Radio Course at Squadron this weekend ! Im pleased to say everyone passed and the bronze badges should be arriving in the post soon.

Last Friday saw our cadets putting their brains and team building skills hard at work, with our service instructor assisting the NCO’s in running a STEM night!

Busy first month back, with over 50 cadets now parading!

Cadets have been achieving all levels of classifications, trained shot badges, and one of our CWO’s even achieved their Radio Operator Instructor and Assessors qualification. Great stuff!
