@btoppmeyer@Ryan12x6 Congress also doesn’t fund the pro leagues but they do provide funding for public universities & colleges. That’s the difference.
@MarkShimer6@BravesMattC He’s not on the 40 man & they are going to have some interesting decisions when Waldrep Schwelly & AJSS are ready to come off the IL. Karinchak would not make it through waivers down the road.
@Clemson_Addict Why show up at all with that attitude? Yes the past couple of years have been bad but have some hope. I don’t think Lane is a great in game coach. Look at his record. Outside of the ‘24 win vs GA, what’s he got? LSU does have dudes but I trust the changes in the staff.
@Braves Heim was well aware that this was the plan when he signed barring a major setback with Murphy’s rehab. He was able to show what he’s got and will likely get a chance to play somewhere.
@EricLDaugh Next on the list…Trump will pull out of the Strait of Hormuz but leave our ships so Iran can rebuild their Navy. Oh wait, that’s what Biden would have done.
@JohnMorton215 Unless Rory comes back to the pack and goes over par today only those at -5 or better have a chance. If I recall the Saturday setup is most challenging of the days & the allow Sunday to be the day that some one can makeup ground.
@JamesBeaul88147@tonidevelin College is for an education not a developmental league for the pros. I’m fine with modest payments to the players. You don’t see research payments to kids in the millions. $100-200k max plus the no loan scholarship should be more than enough.
@ClemsonInsider Athletic depts need revenue and they could sell a spring game vs another close school. TN for example. Both teams could split the gate and/or play a home & home series. People would definitely go for that. Even if 2nd & 3rx string play most of the game.
