The Squadron was recently recognised by the royalbritishlegion Brentwood & District Branch for its dedication and service to the Poppy Appeal.
The Squadron has been collecting for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal for an impressive 25 years❗️
Protector RG Mk1, the first Remotely Piloted Air System cleared to fly in UK airspace, has reached a major milestone in its test programme. Remotely piloted from @RAFWaddington, it can fly up to 40,000ft for 30+ hours. A cutting-edge capability, enabled by outstanding RAF teams.
At the weekend, two of our cadets obtained their Silver Leadership badges.
The two-day course that was held in Colchester; consisted of practical and theory assessments.
Acting Pilot Officer Weller helped to deliver the course along side other Essex Wing staff.
