We just issued a rule requiring airlines to inform you, before you buy a ticket, of fees they will charge you.
Now, the airline lobby is suing us, saying that if you have the right to that information it will "confuse" you.

@cwalker123 about a week ago while assisting a client with a new launch I was led to believe that there was a newly formed contract with DialPad. Within 72 hours, it was discovered that neither the agreement nor payment were authorized. My client is a victim of fraud. The account was not used. Your team is refusing to assist my client, was deceptive during my direct communication, and is attempting to enforce an unenforceable contract. My client will file a claim and the issue will be resolved. I do not believe that holding on to 2K of funds obtained from the victim of fraud is an ethical approach. Every day, I make SaaS and service recommendations to clients. Coming into this situation and trying to unravel it was my first experience ever with DialPad. That’s unfortunate. While it has thus far been memorable, it’s also regrettable. Bullying the victim is unconscionable. My client will pursue an immediate remedy and they will be restored. I just thought you should be made aware of this. I have no problem with companies who enforce valid agreements. Sadly, that’s not the situation here and when given the opportunity to do the right thing, your team chose not to.

So, here’s an interesting thought, and @tapcart_app is not wrong. Every business, whether it is service, product, or information should build a VIP strategy. This is for your best customers or most engaged audience. It’s not for everyone.
When you tell people that they have been given VIP access to content, deals, or information that is available to everyone without any distinction, it reduces credibility; because that’s a lie. #content #strategy #business
