Lance came to the academy hitting in the low 70s. After committing to the process as well as taking care of his academics, Lance was hitting balls in the mid to upper 90s and even playing varsity as a 7th grader. ⁠

This allows for greater transfer of energy and the ability to hold tension while moving, increasing adjustability to off speed pitches.

Lance put in the work and transformed his swing, can’t wait to see what he does next.

When tension is created and held in the back hip, back hamstring, and rear leg adductors (inner thigh) hitters can ride that back hip out longer. Pair this with the ability to plant the lead foot with a firm but flexed front knee and hitters can ride out the front leg.

At the beginning of 7th grade, Lance came to us hitting in the low 70s. By the end of 7th grade, he had reached the low 90s, touching 94 mph and playing on varsity.
