@ToneDawg9@jeff_gluck@_DanielCespedes Entertainment by definition is manufactured. Getting 30 cars together on a track to see who’s the fastest is manufactured. Every rule in every sport is a tool to manufacture the most entertaining experience possible for either the participants and/or the observers. Just saying.
@jeff_gluck@ToneDawg9@_DanielCespedes Seeding this way gives greater opportunity for “upsets” and provides drivers who aren’t consistently successful under the current points system a chance for more exposure. It also adds another system to drive strategy rather than relying solely on the current system in place
@jeff_gluck@ToneDawg9@_DanielCespedes Jeff, I appreciate your coverage and think you do a great job. An alt perspective is that the in-season tnmnt is *meant* to be distinct from the regular season standings—much like the NBA cup. It’s creating a competition that is fully outside and apart from the standings
Other NFL Fans: ugh look at Philly destroying their city
Actually Eagles fans: yo what if we celebrated by allowing this man in a wheelchair to crowd surf!!
@jonjohnsonwip Jon, to equate not playing with “sitting,” and playing with “sacrifice” shows you have a total misunderstanding of what Joel and many athletes go thru. Do you really think Joel *wants* to go through constant injuries & rehab? See @KyleNeubeck piece from today for a reality check
