On Wednesdays during March, we'll be celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth by featuring a prominent woman in theatre. Today, we honor Stella Adler. Stella was an actress in the 1930s and 40s, and founded her Studio of Acting, where dozens of renowned actors and actresses studied.

For our final #BlackHistoryMonth feature, we are spotlighting Geoffrey Holder! In 1975, he was the first African-American to win Best Director of a Musical and Best Costume Design in a Musical for The Wiz!, which also featured an all-black cast.

Today's #BlackHistoryMonth feature is for Shuffle Along! Shuffle Along came out in 1921 and was the first Broadway musical with an all-black cast, playwright, composer, and lyricist. The show ran for 484 nights, which at the time was a record.

Today, we are honoring Hammerin' Hank Aaron, a legendary baseball player and family man. Without enough money to buy a baseball and bat, he used bottle caps and sticks to practice. Hank won the National League batting title in 1956.

Rest in peace, Hammerin' Hank.
