July 2, 1964. The day discrimination on the job became illegal. It didn't happen on its own. Workers fought for it. Unions backed it. And 62 years later, we're still holding the line. Swipe to see the story. #CivilRightsAct#CivilRights#workerrights#Equality#whenwefightwewin

We are incredibly thankful for our Apprentices who are putting in the work to learn the skills of the trade and build strong careers. We’re equally grateful for our Training Schools and Instructors who dedicate their time to preparing the next generation of skilled LIUNA Members.
Through Apprenticeship, our Members gain valuable skills while supporting projects that strengthen our communities and local economies across the Northwest.

No matter where you come from, if you work hard, you belong in this movement—because Laborers stand together, rise together, and win together. See you out there, Local 252—let’s rise!
Laborers Local 252 had the pleasure of attending Mayor Anders Ibsen’s first State of the City address in Tacoma. Mayor Ibsen emphasized two priorities that matter deeply to working people—investing in infrastructure and building a strong, skilled workforce.

Yesterday, Mt. Tahoma High School hosted its Union Career Fair, showcasing the strength of unions to students.
A huge thank you to Cassandra for taking the time to explain the benefits of unions, solidarity, and community, and showing what Laborers Rising means.
A hygiene kit can change someone’s day A few practical items, ready when needed, can mean moving through the day with steadiness instead of strain. With dignity instead of doubt.
All items must be new, unopened, and unexpired an you can drop them off at our Tacoma office.
When Laborers rise, the whole neighborhood feels it. This weekend we showed up at The People’s Center on Hilltop to laugh, connect, and talk union power with our community.
Huge thank you to Cassandra, Darius, Verna, and Alfredo!
