If they don’t know how to handle business, investing, and bookkeeping, they will remain abused and poor.

If we don't secure our farmers by way of improving their incomes, we cannot secure our food.

The Ministry is in the process of developing the National Apiculture Policy & National Bee Policy Regulations. So far, five regional bee multiplication areas have been developed in Tharaka, Baringo, Kwale, Migori and Nakuru Counties.

This initiative will be expanded to other counties with an aim of achieving a national coverage by 2022.
