God
One thing I have proved in my 51yrs, is that God sets up a table for you before your enemies because there must be enemies!
You can come Lwakhakha, go to a children’s home, partially fail in school, start out as a cleaner but still God can bless the works of your hands!
BIG NEWS!!!

It is said that the most popular strategy for running a successful relay race is running your best runner last. 🏃♂️ 🏃🤔
Grateful for the good start @mtnug had in Q1…and the baton handed over to Q2; we remain optimistic for the days ahead. 🙏🏾
A friend comes to me for advice.
He wants to send his kids abroad for secondary school.
Social pressure. All his friends have done it.
He isn’t poor. But he’d need to sell off assets to pull this off.
My advice? Kids are in Kampala Parents and are doing well enough to go to a top secondary school in Uganda?
Don’t send them. It’s also unnecessary financial pressure.
Studying abroad has advantages. Exposure is probably the biggest.
But social capital is cultivated in schools. And every level of education comes with life long connections.
My advice to him? Let the kid get A GOOD Ugandan education. Kampala Parents is a great start. Hopefully they’ll do well enough to go to a solid High School.
Even undergrad. If you don’t like the options Uganda offers, there are decent ones in the region. Not too far from base.
Save that cash for postgraduate education, I say.
That’s just me though.
