@LoneStarChica I'm following this case to see how Sadie does. With my experience in neurology, and seemingly impossible cases, the brain is one miraculous adapter. If she receives all the requisite supportive care, and manages to keep her own drive, then I'm very optimistic for her.🙏
@ClownWorld I have zero problems annihilating ant colonies that are busting into my house, but I don't like torturing any living being. Even as a kid, I only used the magnifying glass on leaves and stuff, never on ants.
@lindseyvonn it would be so cool to ski with you one day, I really hope it happens! You're such a trooper. I know what it's like to battle back from near death in order to thrive once again. Wishing you all the best, & thank you for being such an absolute inspiration to so many!
@washghost1 Me for three years as I nearly died three times. Used all the meds at my disposal, and didn't recover until a new medication hit the market. #CysticFibrosis life. Only been admitted to the hospital once in my life, and refused to do it again.
@Mericamemed My Mother always said I'm like some Himalayan Tibetan Monk 😅. I haven't worn gloves at all since Sunday, despite being out at night with it below zero. I get cold at first when I go out, then my body suddenly warms up. 🤷♂️ Below zero while rucking in the snow here, and sweating:
@ccdirtdawgs @CantinaBand22 @broadcastben_ I'm in Northern Virginia, where we received 5.25 inches of snowfall, and 1.75 inches of sleet. How did y'all fare down South with Snow vs. Sleet vs. Freezing Rain totals? Nice dogs!
@realRandyDalton@broadcastben_@DavidIRamadan I started digging out Sunday night, and it was a lot smoother than Monday evening. I used the power shovel that throws it. I had to shave it down and chip away at it first on Monday.
@cutiegurlk8 It's 7 inches to the west of D.C., but between the sleet that moved around and slid off surfaces, and the plow rubble, there are drifts a couple feet deep.
@BlueRidgeYankee@thenewarea51 As a local who's been around the world, Dulles is the easiest airport to drive up to and catch a ride at, and it's not even close. ATL is the only airport that left my baggage in the rain next to our flight, and I got home with an inch of water in the bottom of my bag.
@thenewarea51 Well, there is a train at Dulles, both the Metro and the AeroTrain, but the mobile lounges do still have some cool purposes (I rode them out onto the middle of the tarmac one night, when an experimental plane landed there). I love Dulles.
