Never seen the parkway like this, but I’ve never been up on big tourist days.

Did hit skyline drive last year and that was a bit of a nuisance, but government was shut down so entrance was free. They can charge because it’s part of the national forest, but mainly because foreigners and NOVA rubes will fork over money to see nature.
