Over the years there are growing domestic concerns that airspace oversight should be purely handed over to the national army, this is based on the fact that our decades old sovereignty on land/sea was earned as result of force so does to our airspace. #Somaliland.

There are two possible solutions to the Somalian airspace aggression:

1. Somaliland assumes complete military control over its airspace and thereby only permitting airlines that obey its civilly aviation directives an overflight rights, landing and take off as needed. Air traffic control will be operated by the military.

2. Somaliland purchases/leases several aircrafts to begin operating own airline to and from transit hubs such as Dubai and Addis Ababa. Subsequently both flydubai and Ethiopian will have to be barred from Somaliland unless they operational accept the terms and conditions set the country.

Moments of WW2 to remember -the #Somaliland Invasion of August 1940 . The historic #Tog_Argan War. it was the same day when Somaliland flag was raised again in this same building in August 1940 after Somaliland Scouts liberated the older capital of Somaliland Protectorate.

Due to its geographic location at the crossroads of three continents. Somaliland Airspace is much valuable and hosts more daily overflight aircrafts than 17 African nations combined, including the entire block of East African Community. @CAAA_SL

Good Friday from #GolisMountain. Hudisa has been the choke point of Oogo and Guban climatical regions of Somaliland. The area has been an operational theatre since days of #Somaliland_Scouts and #Somaliland_Camel_Corps. Probably before and during WW2.
