@duncanoe2 No. As a woman I’ve experienced things that left me in disbelief and shock but happened all the same. I believe the victims. You, however, dismiss them and their experiences and it is disgusting. Your quotes disprove nothing. Do not mention me in a tweet again.
the saddest realisation is that girls can’t just live a peaceful life. we have to cover our drinks, can’t walk home alone, constant fear of harassment, and now we have to be careful of spiking through injection? I can’t believe this is real life
@duncanoe2@katiehaddock3 @AFCAzza @_sarahlouisexo No one wants it to be true, but it is. You have already been tagged with accounts from victims for proof and in news articles you will find countless more. Unless you refuse to believe the numerous victims and dismiss the issue, it’s all the proof you need.
@duncanoe2@katiehaddock3 @AFCAzza @_sarahlouisexo Your dismissal of injections as simply ‘moral panic’, intentionally or unintentionally, disregards women’s experiences which can be extremely hurtful. Claiming it is extremely difficult to occur presents your feelings of disbelief which for victims is upsetting. Be more sensitive
@AbbieBlackford No it’s a good thing if you can’t relate and haven’t experienced the fear of harassment/spiking, or if you were able to move past the anxiety such events leave behind, unfortunately the majority of women aren’t so lucky
@randomscouser85@gisby_marc Unfortunately it’s also injections directly into the body, with reports increasing daily in the UK. This is why we must push for mandatory, thorough searches of people entering clubs
