okay i still hear a lot of copes about quantum and banks. let's make this clear!
what quantum computers threaten is the public facing web interfaces of banks. if you log in with your credentials, using https with vulnerable params, they can be stolen / session can be hijacked.
Some projects claim “post-quantum security." But if you really look at the project as a whole, you'll almost certainly find structural problems.
If:
• Public keys are already exposed
• Migration isn’t enforceable
• Users must voluntarily move
• Consensus rules don’t change
• The "Coin" is an ERC20 or BRC20, or runs on any Quantum vulnerable chain
Then you haven’t built or solved the structural problem, you've painted over corrosion.
Post-quantum security isn’t about swapping ECDSA for a new algorithm. That's the easy part.
It’s about ownership semantics and property rights, disabling legacy DSAs, validation logic, the social contract, and migration guarantees. Almost 100% of projects fall apart under scrutiny.

Making these tokens quantum-secure is challenging because it involves major updates to the blockchain while keeping older systems compatible.
Even with these updates, existing tokens and contracts would remain at risk due to their reliance on outdated cryptographic methods.
For long-term protection in a post-quantum world, it’s best to choose solutions designed with quantum security from the start.
