Whoever here said "the way Souls fans act makes perfect sense when you realize they treat these games as boss fight simulators" was 100% correct. They see exploration and world design as tertiary set dressing to letting you fight 30 Malenias in a row
@_ZakuAbumi_ It's hard for me to tell something specific about my movie taste because it's a medium I like the least, I rarely watch them : P
I like those really slow, reflective, dreamy movies that make you 95% sad 5% hopeful and 95% alone in the vast world 5% connected with it? I guess
@_ZakuAbumi_ Hmm... I've watched MS a while back and it was just okay : ) (BUT I will be checking out more from Araki someday)
I remember you recommending Mr. Lawrence to me, but I can't really find the third one (there's a manga with that title, did you mean it?)
@_ZakuAbumi_ I always feel like every aspect of the worlds she creates is there to tell a story (not sure how to explain it... the plant X is there not to make the world 'fuller', but to carry some kind of message? etc.), and that's something I like in fantasy (and also aspire to as a writer)
@_ZakuAbumi_ I personally loved TLHoD, but I'm a sucker for an unconventional 'love' story (and a lot of it was this to me) and also Le Guin's writing style
guys does anyb have that one evangelion sound where a girl goes something something youre not like shinji and the way she pronounced 'evangelion' is so funny
