Women are waking up to the fact that hormones, fertility, metabolism, pregnancy, and birth are deeply connected. Our bodies are not broken machines to be managed by institutions.
For decades women were told PCOS was just “cysts on your ovaries.”
Now The Lancet is admitting what many women instinctively knew all along: it’s an endocrine + metabolic disorder affecting the entire body.
In school, we teach girls the Pythagorean theorem and other things they’ll never use, but not how their hormones control their energy, mood, and future fertility.
