The 2ABCT, 1AD, held a Colors Uncasing Ceremony on June 6, 2024, to mark their return from the European Theater to Fort Bliss, Texas. Col. Dwight D. Domengeaux Jr., Command Sgt. Maj. Jesus Pena, battalion command teams, and 3,500 Strike Soldiers participated!

2nd place finish amongst active duty units!

Congratulations to Sergeant 1st Class Cameron Drugich, Sgt. Peter Flaherty, Spc. Benjamin Butler, and Spc. Alejandro Yznaga assigned to the 1st Battalion, 35th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, for a 3rd place finish at the Sullivan Cup Best Tank Competition.

These Iron Soldiers competed amongst the best U.S. Army and NATO Allies and partners from around the world. They competed honorably and with resolve. Congratulations to all the teams at competed in this year’s competition.
