One of the most fascinating aspects of doing the research for this site is historically positioning many of the films we share. One example is the richly animated Soviet film: 'New Year's Eve / Novogodnyaya noch' (1948) dir. Olga Hodataeva and Peter Nosov.
And, ending our #2Advent, 25th December, of course, is IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE (Frank Capra, 1946) - “George Bailey, I’ll love you ‘til the day I die”
