It wasn't a red it wasn't even a foul on the field. You can't go back and use VAR to slow down the play has to be done in real time. Yellow yes but not using VAR to do a red card when no card foul on the field was called at the time. That ref should have never given red and we wouldn't be having this conversation. A ref should not be able to make a bad call and hinder the teams chances on the world stage.
