the Anys in the audience cheered loudly and applauded for her.
So why do NTF fans keep insisting that the Anys are bullying her? Could it be that Film’s Chinese and Thai fan bases are painting an overly tragic picture on purpose, to push fans into sending donations?

Since Moonshadow is over, I’m hoping we’re done with this convo, but this post is for the people who kept complaining about Jay’s (& ElleJay’s) screen time. I took time to go through every single episode & code the timestamps where each character appears (including minor characters).
I have the stats per episode if anybody requests (& methodology used if anyone wants), but this post is just for an overview. I haven’t had time to make charts so deal with the numbers (totals, accumulated for all 10 eps). Note for “average”, I excluded eps where the character has no appearance so it’s “average minutes per character per episode they appear in” rather than “average minutes per character across the entire series”
Note: total hours coded for (across 10 eps) = 9:26:40
Average EP length (mean across 10 eps) = 0:56:40
Conclusion: despite Jay being announced as a main character, alongside Chan & Key, Jay had LESS THAN HALF of the screentime allotted to Chan & Key. Elle had roughly the same amount of screentime as Peach did.
Personal interpretation: being mad at Jay for getting “too much screentime” is completely unfounded & not backed by data. Jay received less than half the sceentime as Chan & Key. The issues with ChanKey’s story & dialogue likely cannot be resolved with increased screentime since they already got more than double the amount of screentime as the 3rd main character & still fell short. Rather than blaming an actress for doing an exceptional job & a character for existing within the story, consider holding the writers to a higher standard. They had ample time to explore ChanKey’s relationship & build them a story the way they did ElleJay’s, but they ultimately failed.
