@ackocher@immcouncil@ReichlinMelnick It’s time for us all to act to protect and support the 4.5 million kids that will lose at least 1-parent on 1/20/2025 https://t.co/WlOQ6CfMco
So Musk and Ramaswamy want to cut
- cancer research
- law enforcement
- veterans’ healthcare
- Alzheimer’s research
- low-income kids going to college
- low-income kids learning to read
They want to make America sicker, less safe, less educated — and WEAKER

Trump would cruelly deport unauthorized immigrants and the skilled legal workers who support Trump will cheer and then the skilled workers will get nothing and remain in the backlogs https://t.co/4zm3OGUkwA
@RepJayapal amazing leadership! Thank you! We are Advocating for the children of deported undocumented immigrants, their rights and well-being. https://t.co/55GOIt1tIo

@SIIA_US I appreciate your effort and focus! Sharing ours: Advocating for the children of deported undocumented immigrants, their rights and well-being. https://t.co/55GOIt1tIo … how can we partner?!
Documented Dreamers came to the United States legally, but lose their status at age 21 due to our broken immigration system. When we lose them, we lose their talents and energy.
My remarks in a @HouseJudiciary Immigration Subcommittee hearing 🔽:
Immigrants do so much for our country: they pay billions into Social Security, perform countless essential jobs, and keep our economy strong.
But Republicans refuse to update our 30-year-old, outdated immigration system — just so they can keep up their political attacks.
Republicans LOVE to say that they’re in favor of immigration — as long as people enter the country legally. But that’s a lie.
Under Trump and Stephen Miller, they did all they could to destroy legal pathways and make our immigration system more dysfunctional.
When Democrats expand legal pathways, fewer people show up to the border.
But when Republicans destroy those legal pathways, border crossings increase.
The correlation is there — but Republicans refuse to follow the logic so they can continue fear-mongering about immigrants.
@RepJayapal Agreed! We also need to take immediate action and advocacy for the 4.5 million kids that will lose at least one parent on 1/20/2025: https://t.co/WlOQ6CfMco
When Republicans say they’re OK with immigration as long as it’s legal immigration, don’t believe them.
Donald Trump and Stephen Miller spent four years destroying legal pathways and left our immigration services in shambles. They have no interest in a system that works.
Thank you, @RepDeborahRoss, for highlighting the legislative and admin actions to help children of long term visa holders, including the bipartisan America's Children Act.
As @USCISDirector mentions, USCIS can take actions to help until legislative change, and they should.
