one common trait I find in high achieving individuals is urgency. it looks almost like impatience until you understand it is closer to reverence, a deep refusal to waste the one thing they can’t buy more of. the alarm goes and they rise. the message is answered while it is still warm. the small task is done before it can find a shelf to hide on. they commit and move in a single motion. an idea sparks and they chase it that day, before the world talks them out of it. they run at their own lives like something is at stake, because they have decided something is.
Bro to bro,
When the money finally comes, stay close to God.
It’s easy to remember God in the valley make sure you don’t forget Him on the mountain top.
Money is a blessing. God is the source. Never confuse the two.
This week, remember that what you say to yourself matters more than what the world says to you. Your inner voice can either build you or break you. It can fill you with confidence or drown you in doubt.
Happy New Week. May we win 🙏🙏🙏
No matter how much potential you have, if you don’t fully lock in and take charge of your life, you’ll eventually end up as the guy who had potential but nothing to show for it.
You’ll be tempted to go down to their level. Don’t. The enemy wants you there. You’re better. Smarter. More observant and more gracious and kind. Each time you get the opportunity to react to a situation. Pause and pray. It’s not worth it. You have a purpose to fulfill.
You have no idea what people deal with privately. I started giving myself more grace when I realized how quickly I evolve. If we last spoke 3 months ago, I’m probably a different person today, in a good way.
People expect you to stay the same, but there’s always something new unfolding. Healthy growth is often shaped by seasons and circumstances, and I think we underestimate how much both can change someone.
That’s why it’s important to be kinder to people. Not everything is about you. We’re all trying our best. It’s unfair to expect to find people exactly where you left them a season ago. Catch up with them. Text them. Check in. Life is in motion each day.
If there’s one thing God is teaching me daily, it’s recognizing rage bait. At work, with friends, family, or relationships. I will not be your punching bag. I love you, just not at the cost of my peace, inner work, and progress. Calm. Get therapy, find God. Wishing you well.
Can’t explain it, but there’s a direct link between working out consistently & performing at a high level in work or any project. That’s why athletic people often thrive in companies. It’s the mindset, the discipline, the metrics, and the drive to push past the next limit. Class.
