@ozzzmund@charlottecholey Because everyone I know who went to Walsingham went out of the veneration of Our Lady...
...because it was the national pilgrimage there. So yeah I think I can confidently say everyone who was there that day went out of love for her.
Unless you're saying people shouldn't?
It has been very disheartening to see Twitter Catholics attack Anglicans for—of all things—having rebuilt the shrine at Walsingham, I for one am glad when my brother turns from error and hope that we may someday reconcile with one another
@Navitoes_@charlottecholey 1. I'm not calling anyone out lol
2. They don't act like nothing happened - if you were there you'd know the hymn for the procession literally spoke about the desecration of the priory.
Anglo-Catholics hate that as much as us
@Navitoes_@charlottecholey I'm a Catholic and I'm quoting what a Antioch Patriarchate priest said to me while I was there
It's England's Nazareth, but it's Our Lady's house, and when you're in someone's house you don't argue with those who have also been called to it
The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Southwark preached a sermon before the Anglican service of Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at the Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham… is he a hypocrite too?
