So in a few weeks, after I finish Curse of the Mistwraith, I’m going to take a day to do an Indie Dark Fantasy Faceoff. So far I have six books that I will read the Prologue and Chapter 1 of each & post about to determine which book I’ll read next. Anyone have other suggestions?

Finished this one today. A fun deviation from the standard POV of the first trilogy. Overall very enjoyable story that concludes some character arcs from that trilogy. 4 ⭐️ 9/10

@boycereads Ah, heard this was pretty brutal grimdark which I’m not a fan of. Of course I realize some of the ones I picked could be classified as that but also as Dark Fantasy which is probably my favorite genre. I don’t like the depressing nihilistic aspect of grimdark.
@mfvoss@ChanceBeeDillon@ZB_Steele@monteroauthor@MichaelBookCult@shankbooks Yeah, I’ll take that into consideration. Or I may just read it after if it “wins” ha. Whichever book I decide to go with, if I like the first entry I’ll keep reading the series until I run out of material. Doing this because I honestly can’t decide what to read haha
