Arguably the two worst possible injuries this year. Both players needed to show that they were the way forward now we’ll go into an offseason with a lot more questions than answers
Brian Burns: 2 years left. $44M cap hits in 2027 and 2028.
The plan was to extend him after this season, slash those numbers, and lock in a 28-year-old star.
Now? Uncertainty.

The Giants had $7.5M in cap space before this move, which is enough breathing room to operate. They didn't *need* to create another $5.8M right now. That led to a bit of a Windhorst meme reaction.
The Giants have traditionally waited until cap space was needed to restructure, but there is a bit of a use-it-or-lose-it element during the season. Holland had a $12.9M base salary for this season, so he earns $716K per week. They lose that amount to restructure with each week that passes, so if they waited too long, there wouldn't be much savings to be generated.
Still, definitely taking notice of a proactive restructure that inflated his cap hit next year to $24.7M...
@SB8308715342770 Need to win next week. I think with a good performance we can take something at Liverpool if they play a weakened side. Off the back of two wins, villa at home. 7 points going into a much needed international break is about what we deserve. Realistically we only need to beat pool
Fernandes in the 10 is the biggest problem. Not cause he’s bad but the other midfielders behind him don’t have the passing range to progress quickly. Needs to be marmoush 10 solanke up top
SPURS STARTING ELEVEN VS FOREST
I don’t want to see Solanke or Gallagher anywhere near the starting lineup
Bergvall will hopefully be ahead of Gallagher
While the arrival of Marmoush should hopefully mean less game time for Solanke
I also think Robertson is a better left back than Udogie
You could argue Senesi ahead of Mickey but I don’t think De Zerbi has made him his captain to have him on the bench
The team below hopefully gets something out the game
A goal scored will be nice
🚨 Chelsea are ready to make an improved bid for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott after seeing an opening offer worth £64M REJECTED.
Bournemouth insist the 22-year-old is NOT for sale, but Scott has rejected a new contract and Chelsea are prepared to test their resolve again.
The Blues see Scott as Enzo Fernandez's replacement, who is expected to join Manchester City if a fee can be agreed.

I said Mikey Moore wasn’t a RW he scored.
I said i’ll speak on Solanke at halftime he scored.
I said Bentancur was playing Frank Ball he got an assist.
I said Savio final third decision making was shit and he scored a goal and forced an own goal…
🚨🔴⚪️ Brentford reach verbal agreement to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf from West Ham at £40m package, here we go!
Documents yet to be signed but deal agreed in principle at £35m fix plus add-ons.
Diouf keen on Brentford project — follows @Santi_J_FM. Deal in place. 🇸🇳
@SB8308715342770 Someone said they didn’t want him because it would stop tel’s development… from what I’ve seen I don’t think he’ll be able to match gakpo’s output. Despite being frustrating a player gakpo fills up the stat sheet
@Allthings__THFC Idk I think gakpo is a unsexy signing that will do things that our attack doesn’t do. He’s good in the air and can finish. Similar to Brennan Johnson. Frustrating cause there’s potential for more but also need someone to fill up the stat sheet.
Mark Vientos (fractured right hand) began a minor league rehab assignment tonight for Double-A Binghamton. Starting at DH, he finished 0-for-2 with two strikeouts and a walk.
Time’s up for #10.
Zubimendi sits next to any of our pivots and is trusted to get round the pitch, win duels and move the ball
Noni gives us needed channel running, speed and carry volume
I know they need to give us something realer but they at least have value. #10 doesn’t
