I know I’ve been posting a lot recently, but as Fr. Richard John Neuhaus used to say, “it’s a target-rich environment” right now.
The governor of Massachusetts just signed into law a statute that permits abortion up until the moment of birth, as long as mother and doctor give the go-ahead.
Please understand what this means. A fully-formed child, moments before exiting the birth canal, can be eviscerated, chopped into pieces, have its head crushed or skin burned off—all under the full protection of Massachusetts law.
What I found particularly gross was the reaction of the entirely female crowd around the female governor of Massachusetts as she signed this barbaric provision into law. They were clapping and cackling with delight because what can only be called infanticide can now be practiced with impunity in their state.
I’m old enough to remember when Mario Cuomo, the devoutly Catholic governor of New York, admitted that, though he found abortion personally repugnant, he was, after tortured wrestling with his conscience, willing to give it limited protection of law.
How far we have fallen from agonized and conflicted Cuomo to the present governor of Massachusetts and her entourage gleefully applauding the murder of children.
Remember Thing 1 and Thing 2, twins who sweetly feigned innocence until they were let loose and set about wrecking the house?
Remember how they were technically distinct but fundamentally identical in their tactics of deceit and destruction?
Can’t wait for Woke 1 and Woke 2!
Along with many others, I was appalled by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s giggling dismissal of “Woke 1” as “crazy.”
In case you’ve forgotten, she herself was one of the most passionate advocates of de-funding the police, tearing down statues of American heroes, establishing racial quotas, dividing the country between oppressors and oppressed, etc.
I quite agree that these policy recommendations and policies were crazy,” but she has to own up to endorsing them.
More to the point, Woke 1 was not only misguided; it was cruel.
One of the bitterest fruits of Wokeism was the cancel culture that resulted in armies of people losing jobs, reputations, and careers because they didn’t correspond to the reigning orthodoxy.
I happen to know several people whose lives were devastated by Woke crusaders.
But now it’s just “ha-ha, wasn’t that crazy.” No, it was brutal and inhumane.

The mandated and doctor recommended COVID-19 shot for pregnant women was effectively an abortion shot according to new documents just released by Senators Johnson and Paul.
“The authors claimed a miscarriage rate of 12.6%, but the raw data revealed an 82% miscarriage rate in women vaccinated during the first trimester. This is consistent with the 81% miscarriage rate noted in the Pfizer 5.3.6 post-market data. These figures mirror the effects of chemical abortion drugs such as RU-486.”
@Cernovich False dichotomy. You can just do both. We took our young kids to Italy this summer. Wouldn’t have wanted to do it without them. People thought we were nuts to take them. It was incredible! Best vacation we’ve ever done. Sprinkle intl travel w/ US road trips and you have it all
@carbo_al Not to black-pill, but I’d argue we’re a liberal secularist country. The political liberals are almost correct in their assessment but miss the fact that this secularism is indeed a state-religion, complete with liturgical calendars and all
@ed_Didiong@EnesFreedom@WNBA Authentic gender non-conforming people are either mentally ill, sexual fetishists, or both. We need to help find them the appropriate mental health solutions, not validate their delusions nor harm women in the process
@MattWalshBlog It’s so tone deaf to the struggles of a sizable portion of the American population. And, of course, they can’t name a single example in politics where plugging ears and going “la la la, I can’t hear you” has ever benefitted a campaign
