Roblox is removing cross-game gamepass sales and forcing a $5/month requirement just to donate, with a 1,000 Robux monthly limit. This will kill PLS DONATE.

PLS DONATE is built around cross-game gamepass sales, a system that’s free for players and has no limits. Removing it doesn’t just change things, it kills the game completely.

I wasn’t made aware of this change before it was announced. No warning, no chance to give my input or feedback before they announce this change.

I’ve been developing on this platform since I was 12 and have always loved making games on Roblox, so seeing something this impactful happen overnight without real consideration is genuinely upsetting. This means a lot to me and I’m really sad about this.

The solution Roblox gave us is the Transfer API, which really isn’t a solution and still affects us heavily. It’s locked behind a $5/month subscription, capped at 1,000 Robux per month, and under-18 users require parental approval for EVERY SINGLE transaction. That completely changes the experience.

If transferring Robux is going to be paid, gamepasses need to coexist. Removing them ruins everything and doesn’t stop bad actors from just purchasing through the site anyway. It doesn’t make sense.

I really don’t want to build hatred toward this platform. I love Roblox and still believe in it, and if it truly cares about its developers, I’m sure there are better solutions that keep users safe without killing our game.

Roblox AI moderation just banned a verified college student because her account got linked to a random stranger she's never met.

She said:

Roblox AI moderation is broken and falsely bans thousands of accounts per day.

please do not purchase any robux or anything until they fix this massive banwave. people are getting banned for being linked to random accounts they dont even know. unfortunately i was a victim of this. i am a college student so i share ips with multiple people. i got banned because some random account was linked to mine. how is that far?? ive seen many people get banned because they share ips/wifi with their siblings. so if one sibling gets banned u get banned aswell. how is this fair?? please fix enforcement bans! roblox i am NOT an alt account for anyone. ive had this account since 2017 and logged on almost everyday?? this is unfair to me and many people PLEASE STAY SAFE GUYS.

Roblox banned my first ever account that I created it since 2018. I had it for so long that even when I login couple months ago the account is still fine.

But randomly I got banned few months back and it's from March 2024. That doesn't make sense.

@SinisterPlayz_ I’m glad Roblox is being sued lol, they really do deserve it. They terminated literally half of their players for no reason at all. I wish you luck hopefully u get ur acc back but knowing Roblox’s moderation rn I say tha it’s like a super low chance of getting it back.

@Roblox it’s been almost a whole year of me being terminated on my account 2Notable, yet the moderation team still won’t tell me why I am terminated. They say they cannot tell me any more info whenever I ask why I was terminated. Look into this for me.
