🚨 GLOVES OFF! @SONY, A REMINDER OF WHO PAID THE WAY.
@Sony@PlayStation, you didn’t become one of the biggest names in gaming by yourselves. WE PAID YOUR WAY!
Every console bought. Every $60 and $70 game. Every controller, headset, accessory, and PS Plus price hike we complained about and paid anyway because we loved the platform.
That was OUR money.
We paid for the corporate offices, executive salaries, bonuses, luxury lifestyles, and private jets. Somebody funded the empire. It was the people standing in line, the parents buying games for their kids, and the lifelong fans defending the brand for decades.
And now you’re taking advantage of the very people who put you there?
We aren't asking for much. Just a basic consumer right: A CHOICE.
Physical games matter. Ownership matters. Preservation matters. We want to hold, lend, trade, sell, and collect what we buy.
Instead of listening, leadership acknowledges the backlash and keeps moving forward. Your CFO’s recent comments were a direct slap in the face.
That arrogance is exactly why this blackout matters.
Sony, don't sit in a boardroom surrounded by dominant market-share numbers and forget the millions of individual wallets they came from.
Those numbers are us. We paid your way to the top!
You’re biting the hand that fed you-and you need to remember: You are NOT the only game in town.
@Xbox is still here.
@Steam is still here.
Every time you strip away consumer choice, you make the competition look that much better.
If Xbox doubles down on physical disks while you phase them out, you might be shocked at how many loyalists look across the fence.
All @XBOX would need to do is put out a statement that they will continue to press discs. You could lose half of your customer base in a single afternoon. Let that sink in.....
Complacency has buried corporations before. Being on top for a long time gives people a dangerous habit of thinking they can’t fall.
They can.
Listen to your players. Respect the people who built this platform alongside you. Give us the choice.
Never forget whose pockets that money came from. Ours!

LET’S NOT PLAY ON PLAYSTATION FOR ONE WEEK. 🎮
Starting tomorrow, August 23 through August 30, let’s support the #PSBlackout campaign.
So for one week:
❌ Don’t play on PlayStation
❌ Don’t buy games
❌ Don’t make in-game purchases
❌ Skip PS Store purchases
❌ Skip logins & purchases
❌ Cancel/avoid subscriptions if you can
📀 Support physical games & preservation
The goal isn’t to hurt developers. It’s to send Sony a clear message:
Gamers still want the choice to own their games.
If you support physical media, join the #PSBlackout from August 23–30.
Would you participate? 👇
Sony is moving new PlayStation releases toward digital-only or code-in-box formats after January 2028.
This isn’t just about discs. It’s about ownership, preservation and access.
If a digital store shuts down one day, what happens to the games you paid for?
Some gamers are even considering Switch 2 or PC as alternatives for long-term ownership.
No PlayStation. No Sony game purchases. No in-game spending. August 23–30.
Would you join the #PSBlackout? 🔥
SONY IS GONNA FALL !!!
Let’s look at the main purchasing power. Players over 30 years old. They generally have stable careers, disposable income and decades of gaming experience. They aren’t usually buying only two or three games a year. Many buy ten, twenty, or even more games annually across multiple platforms. They purchase consoles, accessories, collector’s editions, subscriptions, controllers and gaming hardware. They spend thousands of euros every year on their hobby.
Meanwhile, younger players are incredibly valuable too, but many are still in school, university or just starting their careers. Naturally, many focus on a handful of games such as Call of Duty, EA Sports FC, Fortnite, or similar live service titles that they play for hundreds of hours.
There’s nothing wrong with that.
But as a platform holder, you cannot build your entire long term strategy around players who are primarily loyal to individual games rather than to your platform. Cross-play has changed everything. If my friends can play with me regardless of platform, then choosing between PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or PC becomes much easier. Platform loyalty becomes weaker.
Customer experience becomes more important.
Now ask yourself this - what happens when you alienate the customers with the highest spending power?
They leave.

The Backrooms
A world where nostalgia and novelty attack you in the form of "art." I'm blown away. It reminds me of pseudo-3D games from the 2D era, back in the dawn of RPGs and the Family Computer (NES), before polygons and textures existed. Simulated 3D spaces built from looping, repetitive visuals: digital labyrinths unconstrained by the rules of architecture. I used to draw maps on graph paper just to keep track of where I was. That sense of confinement. That feeling of anxiety. Both are revived here in live action. The art direction is clever, incorporating elements of art, architecture, and psychology. This is a 21st-century liminal-space version of "CUBE," a work of surrealism and cubism in which video games of the 1980s and the modern world connect across dimensions.

🚨 🇲🇽 SOVEREIGNTY UNDER ATTACK — MEXICO SAYS NO.
Trump's tariff threats and US pressure on Mexico? It's the same old imperialist playbook: punish nations that refuse to be treated as anyone's backyard. President Claudia Sheinbaum's message is loud and clear: dignity first, subordination never.
While the West lectures Africa and the Global South on "democracy" and "cooperation," they weaponize trade, drugs, and borders to dominate independent nations. Mexico resisting is a powerful reminder to the world that real change comes from standing firm, not kneeling.
From Africa to Latin America, the Global South is waking up. The momentum behind BRICS, de-dollarization, and independent voices shows that the era of geopolitical bullying is coming to an end.
