@LCFC_1884_OK Clubs win leagues every year, but never has a club been relegated to the 3rd division of English football less than 10yrs after winning the PL - generally, the more shocking news gets the most coverage😂
But hey, good for you for finding that silver lining to your raincloud😉
@cameron20441400 @PFCjohnny Oh it’s Wednesday, I was there as well - just shy of 20,000 for an FA cup 4th round midweek Tuesday night game in Feb & you act like that’s shit? 😂 okay.
Our average attendance that season was 25,468 & Wednesdays was 26,762, you sure you wanna say our support was shit?😉
Congrats to @Coventry_City !!!! 💥
My friend @VancityReynolds and I would like to offer you a first class trip to @Vegas. Please be ready in the am and be back in time for kickoff on Sunday. A little late is okay too. 🥂
@bobbydodo74@Coventry_City Exactly that. It says a lot that so many people have nothing but great things to say about him as a human being - and what a human being he is 🩵🩵🩵
I fell in love with football and @Coventry_City relatively late aged 8. The club was relegated from the PL when I was 9.
I genuinely never thought I’d see them back there again, after everything, but it’s a dream I’ve always had.
What a story. What a club. What a team.

@WozzaJ74@secondtierpod But it’s not relevant anyway is it? We spent a lot of money 3 years ago to restore a decimated squad, but this year, the year we are looking like winning the league, we had a net spend of £2.69m. The year Ipswich went up, they had a higher net spend. How is that skewing anything?
@WozzaJ74@secondtierpod Yeah I was talking about our net spend this season, because this is our promotion season, which we had a net spend of £2.69m this past summer - less than Ipswich’s net spend the season they got promoted.
@WozzaJ74@secondtierpod Perfect, let’s compare after 39 games for their promotion season vs covs:
Coventry P 39, W 24 D 8, L 7, GF 81, GA 40
Ipswich P 39, W 25, D 9, L5, GF 81, GA 49
Pretty similar, and less goals against.
Plus you’re wrong, Cov had a smaller net spend this season of £2.69m.
