@NicholasM1203@TexTenno@jerrycurld The problem wasn’t pre-fire. The problem in the guys videos was throwing his gun around corners blindly as if assaults are only on a single building or room at once rather than full area clearance. You’ll notice the Israelis still have their attacks forward focused.
@StandFor2A@MorosKostas It’s treated differently because the people you’re fighting against have a “the ends justify the means” viewpoint and care about nothing except their goals. The endpoint is the only thing that matters to them, not the means or logical reasoning.
Unanimous SCOTUS victory in US v. Hemani. This is a huge 2A win as Hemani wins 9-0. This is a catastrophic defeat for the anti-gun movement and a major slap in face to the Solicitor General John Sauer who (over my complaints) pushed this drug-using criminal defendant case to SCOTUS.
@L25786820589@gunpolicy No. Denials of cert do not set precedent. They are not support of the lower courts decision. They are refusals of consideration. Because this is an “as applied” challenge, it also affects no one but the party.
@Mericamemed Real active shooters aren’t competitive shooters with good target transition skills or navy seals. They’re bullied kids who snapped or mentally ill people who want to commit suicide and obtain infamy who have little to no training.
@Mericamemed Resistance needs to be added but to the people opposing it: “run, hide, fight” that has been ingrained in society has resulted in higher death rates during active shootings. It’s not about personal survival. It’s better for 4 to fight back, 3 to die, 1 win than all run and 30 die
@Mericamemed Fight should be the norm. It’s simple math, the more time a shooter has, the more he can kill. If every time a mass shooting happened, they were tackled by 5 people, the death rates would plummet. Some will die, but that self sacrifice is better than a 10 minute rampage.
@The_Darwinist52@syncookies@Mericamemed Resistance needs to be added, but teaching to fight back is better than the casualty skyrocketing teaching of “run, hide, fight” that results in 30 dead. It’s better for 5 to try to fight back, 4 dying, and the last one winning.
@The_Darwinist52@syncookies@Mericamemed I’m pretty sure this isn’t about the shooter but training the fighter in resisting. While may be stupid from a shooters POV, active shooters aren’t exactly the smartest well trained people.
@trustpointlaw Not wrong. Subjective physical differences are irrelevant to shooting and the means of achieving accuracy is through keeping the gun on target through the firing sequence is a fact. Guys like noarmedshooter don’t even have fucking fingers.
@JediFoolish@NaviGoBoom I wonder the reverse, jamming a shotgun shell into a 50 cal. There’s plenty of videos of firing a 50 cal out of a shotgun. As the 50 cal is smaller diameter and doesn’t create a seal in the chamber, it’s low velocity.
