@libbyemmons We need to repeal all gun, knife, and weapon controls for everyone. Not only is it all infringement, it's selective & unequally applied.
Let's all have the same carry rights as the Sikhs at least.
Did you guys know that DHS permits Sikhs to carry their weapons into secure government buildings even when no one else is permitted to carry their weapons?
Marriage. Motherhood. Fatherhood. And the means to keep them safe. The nuclear family has always been guarded by the people who love it—not by permission slips. The 2nd Amendment is a family value. 🛡️
Hey misfits. June in Tennessee looks different.
We celebrate Marriage. Motherhood. Fatherhood. Faith. Freedom. The cornerstone every healthy civilization in history has been built on.
NOW THAT is some pride worth a parade.
Happy Nuclear Family Month, Volunteer State. ⚔️
Watch how the situation completely flips the moment a firearm is introduced. Having the means to defend himself likely saved this driver from a severe beating,or worse.
Send money to all the gun rights organizations and then vote if you want to lose the 2A forever by having them pack the court and rule the 2A for state-sanctioned militia only (or if you want to be forced into civil war).
Open carry everywhere like us, make videos, have the hard conversations, make gun ownership visible and ordinary everyday again if you want to win and possibly avert a war. If you can spare funds for gun rights, we appreciate any donation big or small. The time for only talk (even in court) is long over. We have to add simple action - exercising rights openly and disobediently - to that talk. https://t.co/Iid5AzNw4t
Not sure how I am only just now hearing this*, but in case you had not heard it, that POS dirtbag with the AR that went on a shooting rampage in Cambridge, MA the other day, he was stopped by an armed civilian who was joined by a cop, they worked as a team, and stopped the suspect.
You know, ALL of the stuff that the antigun crowd says NEVER happens.
In fact, this one incident is the perfect example of how every relevant democrat policy is dead wrong.
- Democrat soft on crime policies put a multiple time convicted felon and attempted cop killer back on the street in the blink of an eye.
- MA strict gun laws (rated an A by Giffords) did absolutely nothing to prevent a convicted felon from getting a gun.
- An armed private citizen actually engaged the suspect.
- When the cops arrived, despite what antigun Dems love to say, the cop was immediately able to tell the difference between the armed civilian and the armed shitbag.
- The cops did not shoot the wrong person.
- The armed civilian did not shoot a bunch of random innocent people.
- The armed civilian and the cop worked together to end the situation, saving innocent lives.
Guns Save Lives! Practice your ABC's - Always Be Carrying!
(* Actually, I do know why it took so long to come out, the MSM doesn't like it when armed civilians save the day.)
It only took Australia 20 years after giving up gun rights to arrive at regulation on the ability to even Google guns.
As if you needed another reason to protect 2A--
The common argument that the US is far less safe than other comparable nations due to gun rights is basically a case of misleading via demographics. If you break down each demographic group via the rough global regions that group comes from, the US does not do poorly.
Obviously, this isn't a perfect comparison (e.g., because "Europe" isn't entirely white people anymore, nor is "Asian" all that specific a category). But I think it does get us into at least the ballpark.
So, the comparison is as follows. For US data, I used the CDC. The global data is from the UNODC.
1. White Americans have a homicide rate of 2.6 per 100,000.
According to the UNODC, the overall homicide rate of European countries is 2.2 per 100,000.
So Europe wins, but only narrowly.
2. Asian Americans have a homicide rate of 1.3 per 100,000.
The overall homicide rate in Asia per the UNODC is 2.3 per 100,000.
So Asian Americans are safer than people in Asia (But note that some specific Asian countries like Japan are among the safest in the world).
3. Latinos in the US have a homicide rate of 5.9 per 100,000.
The overall UNODC rate in the Americas is 15 per 100,000. Latinos are generally safer here.
4. Black Americans have a homicide rate of 24 per 100,000, which is the obvious outlier in the data.
That nearly *doubles* the UNODC rate for Africa, which is 12.7 per 100,000.
In sum, every major demographic is pretty safe in the US, comparable or better than that demographic's "native" part of the world. Except for Black Americans, who are far less safe here compared to people in Africa.
It's a huge lie to call this a gun problem. If it were, all demographics would be much less safe in the US. Instead, only one is, and that tells us the problem is not one of firearms access but a broader structural issue.
This is also why foreign countries that used to be more permissive of guns did not generally get any safer following their gun ban laws, as their homicide rates remained about the same. Guns were never the issue.
Where's the US Supreme Court?!
Where's the @FBI with 18 USC 241/242?
SCOTUS needs to rule and @FBI needs to arrest blue state actors for violations of civil rights. That or gun owners have to start physically defending their rights. That would mean dead cops and Citizens.
🚨 MARYLAND PISTOL BAN MOVING FAST! 🚨
Following in the steps of California, Maryland seeks to ban most striker-fired pistols.
What happens in California never stays in California. We have to kill this bill to stop the spread any further.
The bill is heading to the Governor’s desk. Use the post below and demand a veto now!
This is under a relatively 2A-friendly administration.
What do you think Courts would do under an ardently anti-gun administration?
Courts are a temporary battleground, but ultimately will not safeguard our rights.
Fun fact: at any moment the ~100,000,000 Americans who own roughly 600,000,000 firearms can tell politicians to just $!@& off.
So far we've been very patient.
