And sadly, come November, all the people that voted for the 37 different Dem candidates (number exaggerated, but there were a ton) will all vote for the 1 remaining Dem candidate.

Just like what is going to happen to Spencer Pratt in LA. He did great in the primary, but that is because the Dem vote was split all over the place.

I hate to be the doom and gloom guy, but CA is a lost cause. No matter how bad it gets, the Dem voters keep voting for the same shit.

Went to vote today for the California primaries

The guy next to me called over an election worker because his ballot didn't include the LA mayoral race

The worker checked and told him it was because his registered address was in Malibu, which is outside the City of LA

The guy then asked if he could provide another address

To my surprise, the answer was yes

So he gave the worker an LA address, they voided his previous ballot, issued a new one, and suddenly he was able to vote for the mayor of LA

How is voter ID not mandatory in all 50 states?

We are on the same side here. Outlawing guns because criminals, who nearly always obtain the guns illegally, are illegally modifying them is idiotic.

That said, I think using the number of people killed with a gun known to be equipped with a switch downplays how prevalent they have become in gang shootings. Only 5 people have died, with much thanks to advancements in trauma care. Many others have been shot, and even more have been shot at. The number of shooting incidents that my former department has had in the last couple years with full-auto Glocks and Glock clones is surprising.

I agree with you that banning a handgun from sale to law abiding people is not going to stop criminals, criminals who get guns from the same black market where they get their illegal switches. Doing so infringes on the rights of law abiding while accomplishing absolutely nothing in terms of crime reduction.

Rather than doing what these anti-gun dems are doing, and starting a war against law abiding gun owners, we should be starting a war against street gangs like we did back in the '90s. Maximum enforcement, maximum jail time, gang/gun use enhancements. Lock them up and throw away the key. It worked back then, it can work this time too.
