@AltShiftX Why were there two teams out looking for Aegon? Why would it matter who got to him first? And why would Criston and Arryk come to blows over it?
@MeereeneseKnot I’ve been tellung ppl how much I love the show’s ability to give so much more nuance and depth to the characters that we don’t get in the books. But this is a little too much nuance on Larys’ character for me. Just… ew.
As a femme cis woman, I include my pronouns (she/her) in my work email signature to increase visibility but mostly to piss people off who are upset by things like pronouns.
@GameOfOwns Least annoyed with Rhaenyra but they constantly show how poorly she plays the game of thrones (I said the thing). V told her to shore up her claim.. so she goes and has three obvious bastards. Hard to defend. Still, I’m not loving Alicent’s shrill and paranoid characterization.
@thedragonLML There are other forms of intimacy than full on mouth kisses. Daemon kisses Laena’s belly. There is love and tenderness. Baela kisses Daemon and Laena goodnight. Corlys and Rhaenys speak to and hold each other in a way that absolutely implies intimacy. You can show and not tell.
@Sherlock_Homo28 I know I always thought it was so weird that they knighted Brienne and Pod sang “Jenny’s Song” and then they ended the series right there at episode two of the final season and nothing bad ever happened ever again.
@theyolkboy I think the shame of sullying his white cloak for Rhaenyra is what causes him to crack here. I mean, the poor guy ASKS to be executed. And when Joffrey (unknowingly) rubs it in his face again, he just snaps.
