i wouldn't say the productivity boost is a raw one. its not because i am literally operating faster because of the time savings of keeping your hand on the keyboard and the efficient key binds.

I think “Have you never been there?” is a more interesting case. I know old English had yes-no and yea-nay forms for affirmative and negative questions like this.
