Preserve the life of the mother. Miscarriages before the time of viability (24 weeks) need to promptly be dealt with, often as a surgical emergency to stop bleeding. The embryo or fetus needs the placenta to survive, and in a miscarriage, it is not salvegable.

The SCOTUS opinion blocks a civil right for women. You can have the right to your opinion on the moral issues, but criminalizing women by saying abortion is illegal is overstepping and shows the REAL problem: denial of access to universal healthcare and family planning.
