Did you know: plants really do respond to sound. Talking to plants to help them grow is a well-known old gardener's tale, but studies have shown vibration (like music, or perhaps even the sweet sound of your voice) can affect plant growth.
Wrapped up our classroom generosity project this afternoon. These students were so excited to deliver their personalized thank you cards. Thanks to all the adults that help make @marionlrsd a safe and fun school to come to each day.

If a student asks you for an accommodation (ex. an extension) because of their mental health, what do you do? I'll tell you what I do. 1. Validate 2. Accommodate 3. THANK them for prioritizing their mental health! Teach youth that something positive comes out of asking for help.
We had a memorable afternoon watching the #NASAPerseverance rover land safely on Mars. Way to go #NASA you have inspired many future space scientists today @marionLRSD
