In case you have noticed my Nigerian brothers and sisters, we are living through a Structural Adjustment Program (SAP).

In exchange for predatory loans from Western banks that we cannot repay in 50 years, your president has dissolved essential public subsidies in education and energy.

The basic things that a government should provide for its citizens have been slashed in favor of ruthless privatization and shameless looting.

Our currency has been devalued and tens of millions of our people have been pushed into multidimensional poverty.

Its similar to what our parent endured in the 1980s under Babangida's SAP that set us on a path of no return.

But this time is much worse because we also have a whole roster of terorrist organizations to contend with.

Afrikans must stop pretending civilisation only began when foreigners arrived. People who lose spiritual confidence eventually lose cultural confidence, political confidence, and economic confidence too. So, as per one of the pioneer pilots of our set, I will say that I went to Air force military school, and I started scaling fence from my JSS1 - SS3.. We had exit points all over the school fence and we didn't only just go out at night though
