PRESIDENT TINUBU SHOULD DROP ALL CHARGES AGAINST MAZI NNAMDI KANU AND SET HIM FREE AS HE WITHDRAWS CHARGES AGAINST SOWORE!

It has been over four years since the prisoner of conscience, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been behind bars at the behest of the former President Buhari-led Federal Government.
As President, Buhari was manifestly anti-Igbo and he used every opportunity to demonstrate this rabid hatred.
It was therefore not surprising that what started as 5% and 95% comment from Buhari soon turned into the full militarization of the Southeast.

Unfortunately, Nnamdi Kanu has suffered unjustly, his only crime being his quest for the political renegotiation of the place of Ndi Igbo.
The increasing Igbophobia, self-evident during the last general elections and also fully displayed on twitter especially from Government handles was the exact reason Nnamdi Kanu kept calling for the emergence of #Biafra as an independent country for Igbos.

Although, I personally disagree with some of the methods adopted by MNK, I believe his intentions are genuine and until the things which led to his agitation are addressed, people like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will keep popping up every now and then even if the state kills Nnamdi
Kanu.

A few days ago, I heard that Sowore has been discharged and acquitted by Tinubu’s government. That is Great development. I sincerely believe its about time the same treatment is extended to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Nigeria's appalent Court had on several occasions discharged and acquitted him of all charges levelled against him but the Buhari presidency kept him in detention, in contempt of the apex court.

The time has come for the Nigerian Government led by Tinubu to do the right thing by releasing MNK unconditionally.
I am particularly praying for Nnamdi Kanu’s release so that peace can return to igbo land to enable us start the process of rebuilding our devastated homeland.
In the last four years, criminals, hiding under the cover of Biafra agitation have wreaked havoc on our land, leaving trails of extra judicial killings innocent Igbos and utter devastation. I strongly believe releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will enable us unmask those behind this wanton destruction of lives and property.

I am using this medium to call on all men of goodwill to join their voices with mine to demand that President @officialABAT release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu so that peace can return to Igboland to pave the way for the massive reconstruction that awaits us.
